Because sometimes, all you need is someone who’s walked the path before you.
Navigating school, university, or career choices can feel like a lot. And when you’re doing it in a completely new environment, the pressure doubles. That’s where we come in.
So, we are pleased to be launching the GAME Mentorship Scheme, which we have created to make sure you don’t have to figure it all out alone. Through this initiative, we’re connecting African students with mentors and professionals who’ve already taken the steps you’re about to take and who are ready to share their honest insights, practical advice, and the things they wish someone told them earlier.
This is not just about careers or university tips. It’s about real guidance from people who understand your journey, your background, and your aspirations.
What you’ll gain:
- A personal mentor you can reach out to for support, questions, or guidance
- Advice on everything from adjusting to a new academic environment to planning your next move
- Insight into what it’s actually like to study in the UK or navigate certain industries
- The chance to connect with a growing network of GAME students, alumni, and professionals
How it works:
-
Apply – Tell us about yourself, your goals, and what kind of guidance you’re looking for
-
Get Matched – We’ll pair you with a mentor who’s been in a similar space
-
Stay Connected – You’ll have ongoing access to your mentor and can check in as needed
Our mentors include professionals in:
- Law
- Finance
- Entrepreneurship
- Consulting
- Technology
- Medicine
- Media, Fashion, and the Creative Arts
Who this is for:
This scheme is open to African students currently in Sixth Form or University in the UK, or those preparing for that journey. If you’re looking for guidance, clarity, or just someone who gets it, you’re in the right place.
There are limited spaces, and we want to make sure every pairing is intentional. So if this sounds like something you’d benefit from, we encourage you to apply.
