A brief introduction

Hello, my name is Dami Atere, and I am graduating with a degree in BSc Management from the University of Nottingham in 2025. Originally from Nigeria, I grew up across Lagos and the UK. Before moving to the UK, I attended Greensprings School in Lagos from 2014 to 2017. In the UK, I studied at Cranbrook School from 2017 to 2019 and then at Stowe School until 2021. In my free time, I am an avid football fan and organise annual football tournaments each Christmas. I own a catering company, DaChef, and enjoy cooking, listening to Afrobeats, and reading non-fiction. I’m eager to provide guidance to students beginning their educational adventures, offering practical advice to smooth your transition and enrich your experience. Let’s connect and work together to enhance your journey and make it truly rewarding. What was the biggest challenge you faced adapting to boarding school?: The transition to boarding school in the UK wasn’t too difficult, as I was already familiar with boarding life from my time in Nigeria. There were some cultural differences, though, and the adjustment wasn’t entirely smooth. Thankfully, the friendships and connections I made helped make the transition easier. Education: BSc Management at the University of Nottingham Previous Schools:
