A brief introduction
Hello, my name is Kamana Akinyanju, and I am a final year Mathematics with Finance and Accounting student at Queen Mary’s University. I have grown up across Lagos and London, which has been an interesting experience. Before moving to the UK, I attended the French school in Lagos for primary and did my secondary school years here in the UK at Epsom college. I am excited to offer guidance to students embarking on their educational journeys, sharing actionable advice to ensure a seamless transition into their next chapter. Let’s connect and make your path easier and more exciting.
What was the biggest challenge you faced adapting to boarding school?: I guess I’d say the biggest challenge for me when I first attended boarding school during Year 8 was the culture differences and adapting to a whole new system. Additionally, I missed home a lot, as I hadn’t been away from my family for long periods before that. It was a difficult transition.
